Inside Passage Midwifery is by far the best Midwifery business, why? Because of Debbie. Debbie was my midwife through my first two pregnancies that ended in miscarriage and then through my next four pregnancies that resulted in four amazing tiny humans. Debbie is very knowledgeable and provides excellent service. She was available whenever I needed her, provided excellent care for myself and my newborns, has a wealth of wisdom and unending support. With Debbie as my midwife I was able to overcome the devastation of my miscarriages and go on to have the most amazing labor and delivery experiences.

I cannot say enough good things about Debbie! She was so easy to talk to, and so caring! She accommodated me and my kiddos for appointments and was always very knowledgeable of everything going on with me. She was thorough and always watching out for what was best for both me and my baby! Anyone that knows Debbie also knows that she took excellent care to make our dog feel loved too! I trusted her with every big decision we had to make even down to being induced. She made me feel confident and informed of my options and never made me feel like she had an agenda one way or another other than what was best for me. She also was amazing providing postpartum care, and came at just the right time to help when I hemorrhaged. I would trust her time and time again!

When we found out we would be expecting our first child together we were faced with countless choices. A friend of mine recommended Debbie for her level of expertise. My wife could not chose a home birth due to her status as a VBAC but she had some trauma regarding Medical Staff in the past and we wanted someone we connected with to be with us through it all. We choose to engage Debbie as our Doula to accompany us to the hospital in addition to our doctor and it was one the best choices we have ever made. Not only did she guide my wife through her fears and anxieties but empowered her to feel confident in her choices while providing wonderful care. We ended up getting the home birth we never expected (wow that was fast!!) and Debbie switched roles in that unexpected moment so smoothly and

Debbie is a compassionate and wise provider. She has guided me as my doula through two pregnancies and I couldn't ask for a better advisor who now has become a part of our family. She never took it for granted what I may or may not know and helped me feel confident in my medical choices while navigating the complexities of a VBAC pregnancy in Juneau. Thanks to her I had two of the best birth experiences I could hope for!
