I was hospitalized twice recently at HonorHealth Sonoran Crossing Medical Center in Phoenix, and unfortunately my second stay was extremely traumatic due to their bed alarm policy. I understand that hospitals must consider fall risk and patient safety. However, I am a fully mobile person who uses a walker appropriately and safely. I also have a history of blood clots and require regular movement to protect my health. Exercise and mobility are not optional for me — they are medically important. Despite this, my bed alarm was activated 24 hours a day based solely on “policy” and nursing discretion. The alarm is not subtle. It is extremely loud and startling — especially for someone with PTSD and a history of trauma, including past bed restraint experiences and domestic violence. I clearly
This is my second time delivering at sonoran crossing and both experiences have been exceptional all around. The care, the food, the amenities, the rooms, everything is perfect. the staff have all been so kind and helpful and truly care for us. My couplet care nurse Claire, especially, just went above and beyond to put me at ease and start diagnosis/treatment for pre eclampsia asap. Every single nurse and staff member has been so amazing and compassionate.
I gave birth on Friday Jan 30th and had my first cesarean. The amazing love and care I received from my team I cannot put into words how grateful I am. Staring off with Adrienne in labor and delivery who was so funny and knowledgeable and started off the morning with just so much comfort which I needed because my anxiety was crazy! Sarah and Mary who were both part of my c-section team and after care team. You both kept me calm and collected you talked through my fears, reassured me, calmed me, listened to me and my husband you guys are just angels. Kylie in couplet care so sad I only got you for one night but it was so worth it! You are such a wonderful and sweet individual you listened you cared you cheered on but you were also so realistic and down to earth with me you helped me physica
We had an amazing experience at HonorHealth Sonoran Crossing Medical Center Labor and Delivery during my niece's delivery. From start to finish, the care was exceptional, and Nurse Lisa truly stood out. Lisa was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly reassuring throughout the entire process. She explained everything clearly, stayed calm and attentive, and made everyone in the room feel comfortable and supported, especially Vanessa. Her presence alone brought so much peace during such an emotional and important moment. Thanks to the wonderful care provided, my niece delivered a healthy baby boy, and we are beyond grateful for the compassion and professionalism shown by the entire team. This is a memory our family will cherish forever.
I want to Start this out 100% Honestly I would give this place a 5 Star if they could of helped with my pain better I had left ankle fusion surgery here at HonorHealth Sonoran Crossing Medical Center on August 1, 2025, and I’m now on day 3 of recovery. The staff has been kind, respectful, and really helpful—no complaints there. As a 10-year stroke survivor, I’ve seen a lot of hospitals, and these folks do care. That said, pain management here is unacceptable. • Day 1 (surgery day): I was in twilight sedation 99% of the time, sleeping most of the day. They gave me plenty of meds, and I was pretty out of it, so pain wasn’t an issue then. • Day 2: The pain kicked in but was still tolerable. They seemed to stay on top of it, and it was handled reasonably well. • Day 3 (today): The pain is ou
