Years ago I was working on Nantucket Island and my dog jumped over a large fence to chase a cat. It injured its leg very badly and I took him to Sherry Holt for an exam. I’m less than 10 minutes she only assumed he had torn his ACL and told me he had to have surgery. She barely even touched my dog to form the diagnosis. I didn’t know this at the time but it was my dogs’ kneecap that had the injury. Not the ACL. This mistake involved an expensive journey off island and a surgery that was a complete waste of time and put lots of undue pain and stress on my dog. At that time the internet did not have google reviews so I am writing this now to complain about Sherry Holts complete lack of professionalism and standards to her veterinary practice. Pet owners beware.
