We are a mobile dental office serving Nantucket every few months, and occasionally, we find ourselves short on a few small (but essential) clinical supplies after stock runs out. On more than one occasion, the team at ACK Dental Art has stepped in and truly saved the day for us. They’ve been nothing but friendly, generous, and incredibly easy to work with. We hold a very high standard of care for our patients, and we always feel extremely confident referring larger or more complex procedures to ACK Dental Art. I had a follow-up appointment for stitch removal and was shocked by the billing. I was originally quoted $450, never received a bill, and had already paid $300 over the phone. At the appointment, my balance had been increased to $815, including charges for retaken X-rays (due to the office losing my original records) and an additional examination I had already received. The receptionist refused service unless I paid the full amount immediately and was very rude. The manager later said she was unaware of any policy that would allow refusal of services for unpaid balances, which contradicts the receptionist’s actions. This experience caused stress during my pregnancy and unnecessary transportation costs. I do not recommend this office due to improper billing and unprofessional conduct.

They are booked months out and will not work with you in any way. Needed a 15 min x-ray, but instead I need to go off island. They don't support the locals they won't even hear what you have to say. For 1 of 3 places on Nantucket that take insurance. This place will not care if you need help. They will make you wait months just to be seen if they pick up the phone. They won't even help you if it's an emergency and you are local year round. And the customer service was extremely rude. They are adamant about defending and responding quickly on the review page. But couldn't be bothered to return my fiance and my phone call and messages. 0 stars. Do not waist your time. Go to someone who can call you back. Not someone you have to bug to get a response from.

I had a dental emergency and they helped me. Eternally grateful! Loved watching the Seinfeld episode while in the chair. Really relaxed me. A very good vibe about the office. All hard-working but kind professionals. THANK YOU!
