ACK Eye

I had a great experience as a first time patient at ACK Eye. Dr. Gage made the eye exam a total breeze (usually I absolutely dread it), you can tell she is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the level of care she provides to her patients. I picked out a great pair of frames (the fun part) and they were ready in exactly a week and fit my face perfectly. Grateful for this resource on Nantucket.

I was on Nantucket today and my disposable contact lense popped out in the surf. I reached out to Ack Eye to see if they could help with a replacement, they responded immediately and gave me a sleeve for each eye within an hour - at no charge. If they give a random stranger service like this, I can only imagine how wonderful being a patient of theirs would be. I will be recommending all my friends on the island to them!

Highly Recommend! My daughters glasses broke the first day of our week trip to Nantucket. ACK Eye had another pair for her, swapped the lenses and voilà! ACK Eye saved our trip and therefore gets a “20/20” in my book!

I was staying in Nantucket for my honeymoon and had an issue with the last two pairs of contacts that I had brought with me. I had reached out to ACK Eye and they were extremely helpful with getting me a few pairs to get me through until I get home. So very helpful and outgoing for the people on their island. Waited 'til off-season to book an eye exam, Oct. 11.....was told no appointments until their paperwork was completed, I completed it that day, only then was told next appt. not until sometime January, 2025.....have now phoned twice asking they leave message confirming the next available Jan. appt. two days now, they haven't called, left message, etc. ( I'd schedule one off-island, but can only walk on 'lucky-good' days, so am stuck with struggling to get on-island eye exam.....) the day I visited them there were three staff, no customers...next appt. January 2025???
