Customer Reviews
I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at Hendricks Hospital. Last Thursday night, I brought my wife to the emergency room, and we were immediately impressed. She was called back right away and evaluated by some of the kindest, most attentive nurses we’ve ever encountered. Every single person we interacted with was friendly, compassionate, and genuinely caring. After she was admitted due to her illness, the outstanding care continued. Brian, Moe, Charge Nurse Maria (day shift), Leslie, Andrea, Francesca and Charge Nurse Maria (night shift) all went above and beyond to make sure my wife was comfortable and well cared for. Their professionalism, teamwork, and warmth truly stood out. You can tell they care deeply about their patients. They all provided phenomenal service — so
Even though it was a crowded Friday evening everyone from check-in to all medical personnel were as efficient as possible and respectful, kind and compassionate to take care of me and other patients in a timely manner as much as possible. There apparently was an elevated emergency patient that needed many of the ER medical personnel to take care of so other patients got backed up. But I and all other waiting patients were taken back long enough to do the basic vital signs and the reason they needed to be seen. Then we were sent back to wait in the waiting room. To do so streamlined care as best possible and I commend them for doing what they could to get each one of us to the medical care we needed that evening. Good job and kudos guys doing what you could to help us as efficiently as poss
My review will be mixed. The ER staff and doctor working Saturday night were horrible to my parents. My mom who has has an inflamed gallbladder full of stones, was at Hendrick just last week getting a stent put in and a stone removed from her duct. Over the weekend started to feel horrible pain. She was told by her doctor to get to the Hendrick south ER and they treated her like shit. Like she was an inconvenience to them. The ER should be a safe space for people in pain with caring bedside manners but they were rude, especially the young taller male doctor with blonde hair working on call. They insinuated she was there just to get pain medication! He asked her if she was on drugs! They wouldnt treat her til she was able to give them a urine sample over an hour into waiting. And they put
From sitting in the waiting room doubled over in pain having to listen to The Big bang theory's laugh track louder than anything in the room. Combined with the sheer uncaring attitude of every single person that was involved with my care. This experience was a nightmare. From the time I was actually brought to a room it took them nearly 45 minutes to give me anything for the pain. They showed up to attempt a CAT scan before even I was administered anything and I refused until I had something to stop the pain. I had not urinated in over 24 hours at that point due to extreme pain. No one seemed to care anything about that. To add insult to injury the nurses station in the ER was just basically a party: continuous laughter, cutting up, and conversations going on there while everyone that was
Took a friend who was doubled over in pain here on Thursday 2/5/26, around 5pm. Friend had not been able to urinate in over 27 hours. Waited in waiting room for an hour and 20 mins before he was even taken into triage. There were 3 people ahead of us, one of which appeared to be seriously sick. One lady doing triage. I timed her. She took over half an hour between calling anyone’s name. I did see a lot of food going into the ER. A pizza delivery, several styrofoam containers of food. When we were finally called for triage, it took her seven minutes. IDK what was taking the extra 23 minutes between her calling names. There was a general/overall lack of concern about the patients. We were left in a room for long periods of time without being checked on. Every time I looked out of the room,
