Children's Dentistry of Abilene

Took my 4 year old to his first appointment and I was definitely feeling nervous because my son doesn’t do to good going to any doctors office. But oh my goodness Dr. Poorman and the young lady that attended to him were so gentle and kind with him, talking to him and making him feel safe. He was also very informative in a much needed procedure that he needed and was very reassuring. We had the best experience with the Dr. he definitely loves what he does! And with that I am moving my other children to this dentistry office as well!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐️ Dr. Poorman and his staff are truly incredible! My son, Zane Smith (3/1/18), recently had a visit, and the care and compassion we received were beyond words. Dr. Poorman’s bedside manner is amazing—he not only provided exceptional care but also made sure Zane felt comfortable and supported throughout the process. The staff went above and beyond, sharing how they felt using Zane’s “feelings blanket” that truly touched our hearts. Their prayers and emotional support meant so much to us, and it’s clear that they genuinely care about their patients. Dr. Poorman was great with my daughter as well as his assistant. They both made the experience great! It was also very fast! We will definitely go back. This was also the first experience my son had where he was not afraid.

Great place! Very professional and was wonderful with my son. My son is autistic and it was so nice to see him treated the way he should be, he was so scared and hates metal in his mouth. Now he cant wait to go back! They also explained everything that was going on and what we should do. Was easy to get everything figured out. They answered all my questions.

My grandkids had a visit on the 16th of July, and I was very pleased with the care they received...the staff is very friendly,they took great care of my babies, highly recommended this place of children..so happy I found them..
