Hendrick Health

I have a PPO health insurance so I have freedom to go to network doctors without going through a primary. I will be in Abilene for the rest of the year and wanted to see and specialist for a medication to be filled. Even though my health plan doesnt require a primary care doctor, I still need a referral with Hendrick Medical. It sure is sad when there is only one medical group in town and they squeeze every scent out of you to get the care needed. I feel sorry for those who live here and have to deal with this.

Hendrik has monopolized of everything. It's unfortunate that there isn't a better hospital. There's a few good doctors and nurses, but I highly suggest you go somewhere else. Also, whenever a social worker comes and starts asking about your assets, bonds and/or what you have, immediately direct them to your lawyer. That is highly illegal and its not their business (they share that info)....they want to get their money and they will take what is yours. Do not trust this hospital.

I had knee replacement surgery and they have been taking care of me unbelievably. I feel like I am with family with all the real love and care I feel. Thank you all so much, you made a drastic experience into a much better unbelievable one. Started off with Dr. Vann praying for me and then the Recovery room nurse Holly was amazing, so very caring. My floor nurses Katy (day) & Sherwin (night) are wonderful. ❤️ I thought this experience was going to be a horrid one and I’m happy to say that Hendrick Medical Center and the hospital staff made it a pleasant one. ❤️

Hendricks always take good care of our family. We truly appreciate for all the hard work and the dedicated staffs day in, day out. One of the toughest profession that dealing with people in their not so much nice moods.

Care is hit or miss. Lots of traveling nurses. Take your kids to Cooks in Ft. Worth. Hendrick is not equipped past a kids with the flu.
