Heart Hospital of Austin

They are exactly as the name says! They are the medical team of anyone’s heart! The LVAD Team is amazingly awesome! Doctors, nurses, administrative personnel, auxiliaries, each associate and employee from top to bottom make of this hospital the best in cardiovascular care! See it for yourself!

I had open heart surgery to remove a benign tumor at the hospital in January 2019. Everything was great from the check in process all through the surgery and hospital recovery time. The nurses were above and beyond anything I had expected. I would definitely go there again if necessary. Thank you to the staff, doctors and nurses of the Heart Hospital of Austin

Austin Heart service has gone down the hill. They use to be the best but not any more. Stayed two days and could not get any rest. Noise nurse station and in hall, even when door was shut. Food service was terrible. 4 meals never arrived. Had to ask nurse for sandwich. No sheet for choice was give. The one Breakfast I got came with ice tea as drink? Did not receive all my regular meds while at hospital. Many of nurse poor attitude and no patient help and care. best help came from a male nurse on last day. Same Austin Heart use to be the best there was on all my other many stays there.

Heart hospital of Austin was a very nice and clean facility. Personal thier was very polite and accommodating to my comfort and needs. Check in was very easey to do. The people at.the front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable about it. The nurses were very nice and help to me getting through my surgery.. my doctors pretty much told me how my surgery would go and explained any concerns I had and checked on me afterwards and explained how the surgery went and what to expect after it . My care team after surgery did beyond to make my short stay as great as possible. My discharge was easy and simple and my care was explained what.i needed to do at.home and was gave numbers to contact if any problems came up . I've have never had to stay in a hospital before.
