Hear Again Center

I had an appointment on Wednesday at the Hear Again Center and it went extremely. The people there, both the receptionist Jessica and Dr. April, were very kind and supportive. I felt cared about and learned what I needed to know to decide to try BiCros hearing aids, which are the only ones that help deal with my type of hearing loss. I look forward to continuing to work with them.

After my hearing was evaluated, my options in hearing aid types was reviewed. The explanation was not entirely clear to me, and I would have asked more questions but the doctor was concerned about being on time for her next appointment. She looked at her watch and also said she needed to get to her next appointment. I felt rushed along. Being in my 80’s, I need a bit of time to take new info in. The doctor’s rate of speech was so fast that I eventually gave up trying to follow to what she said. Part of the problem (I gather from what she said) was that she had not dealt yet with Aetna insurance (which I was switched to this year). It took three times (and 3 printed out copies) for her to get the proper estimates of what my costs would be for the options my insurance will cover. I will

The staff here is friendly and professional. They’re doing business at the moment in a transition space while their long-term offices are being made ready. Even the present space, though, has history and charm, and the staff makes it work. They’re conveniently located in downtown Simsbury. I found them quite knowledgeable. Enjoy Hear Again!

This was my first time there. Dr. April Labelle was wonderful. She explained everything so that I was able to understand what was going on.

The team here is so great and professional. The receptionist is probably one of the friendliest woman I've ever met i would recommend this place highly
