My first visit to the Center for Dental Excellence in Simsbury, Connecticut, was in June 2023. At that time, I had already undergone 8 implants (4 upper, 4 lower) and I was quoted a price from CDE in excess of $50,000 for two zirconia arches—upper and lower—including an additional $5,250 charge for “metal bar support.” Each arch cost $22,000, making the investment enormous from the start. Over the course of 14 appointments spread across nearly two years, the treatment never resulted in a proper fit. I was ultimately dismissed in May 2025 by Dr. Bruce Nghiem after being told there was nothing more he could do for me. He is everything I'd hoped to find: expert; professional; gentle; polite; a perfectionist; and just a nice guy. His staff is a reflection of him and all are a delight.
