Harris Teeter Pharmacy

I have used this pharmacy for several years now after the lines at CVS were just awful. I have had pleasant experiences with the staff and I have also experienced them "rushed" or "busy". You don't get the warm fuzzies but they're busy and I am not one that wants the small talk anyways. Recently our RX are now "out of network" with them but they have always gone above and beyond to make sure we aren't over paying, if that's a goodrx or their instore help. We are being forced to switch to another local option, hopefully our insurance works with them again soon.

I have been using this pharmacy for a while now but the person I just spoke with was so rude. I called because my insurance keeps getting switched in their system (not sure why, that’s why I asked) and she was so rude and gave such a nasty attitude and made a comment of “it’s not like we go in and switch your information around”. I don’t know much about insurance and my insurance has been the same all year, I do not know why I’ve had to call every time I do a refill / get medication and confirm my info with them again, but I can surely tell you that because of her demeanor I just switched my pharmacy somewhere else.

UPDATE since my last post about my daughters prescription: I should have learned my lesson almost 10 months ago, but I didn't. The pharmacist here are fine. The techs however, are absolutely the rudest people I have ever come in contact with. Not only have they been rude to my elderly mother, but absolutely horrible to myself. Will HT lose money on my family moving prescriptions elsewhere? No, but to be that miserable in life to treat others that way in a service industry is unacceptable. It doesn't give me the option of Zero stars. 1 star is too good! The economy is getting ao much better that they should find another job. Came into pick up my daughters prescription. My mother tried to get it the night before, and they told her it would be 20 minutes. My mother left and I came in this

Love this pharmacy! Been using their services for over three years now. Always courteous and efficient.

Pharmacy Techs need a MAJOR attitude adjustment. They are snotty simply for the sake of being snotty and it reflects poorly on the technicians with good customer service as well as the organization as a whole. Don’t bring your bad day into your job. I just want my prescription, I didn’t do anything to hurt you. There’s a reason they don’t answer by name… (like other Harris Teeter pharmacy’s). I hate having to call this location.
