Several years ago, I switched my children and I from a Lake City dentist to Dr. Arthur’s office of dentistry in Live Oak. The ladies in the front office were very helpful with the transition. We love our dental hygienist. She always takes time with each of us per visit and is helpful in answering questions regarding treatment. Dr. Arthur takes time to make us feel comfortable. This has been a positive change for us and we love that we always feel welcome. I would definitely recommend this office to friends and family.

Our experience at Harold R. Arthur, DMD, PA Family Dentistry was absolutely unacceptable. My son had an appointment today specifically for a spacer — something clearly communicated multiple times while scheduling. Yet when we arrived, Amy took us to the back and immediately started pushing a “treatment plan,” claiming my son had multiple cavities and insisting on fluoride treatment. The problem? He was just seen by another dentist earlier this month and was cleared with zero cavities. When I reminded her that today’s visit was for the spacer, Amy abruptly stated, “That’s not happening today.” This was not a misunderstanding — they knew exactly why we were there. Dr. Arthur is a phenomenal dentist. He was always honest, diligent, and understanding. I know I can trust him for whatever issues I have related to my dental health. Also, the entire staff is extremely nice, warm, and welcoming. I couldn’t recommend anyone else as my family dentist!

Dr.Arthur is absolutely amazing. He’s kind, understanding and above all dedicated to his patients. I wouldn’t trust my, or my children’s dental health to anyone other than him and his staff. They make sure you are comfortable, and happy from the moment you walk in.

Unprofessional, Greedy, and Heartless I recently found out this dentist named his boat “Sweettea”, not because he loves the drink, but because of how much money he makes off patients’ cavities from it. Let that sink in. Instead of focusing on preventing decay, he literally jokes about profiting from it. That alone says everything about his mindset, but it gets worse. This office has canceled children’s appointments, leaving kids in pain and without care, as if their comfort and health are disposable. No child should be left suffering because a dental office can’t honor its word. He doesn’t see patients, he sees dollar signs.
