After one session with James, the never ending tightness in my back has loosened significantly. While this is due in part to the session itself, it’s also because of the deeper understanding he gave me about how my misaligned posture has had a widespread impact across my body. Having only just spent the past few days walking with my shoulders back and my body more aligned, the relief is honestly shocking. I don’t know much about Soma, but what James shared with me in just one session has made a remarkable difference in my day to day life. I look forward to learning more with him.

I recently saw James at Ground Work Healing after fighting a pinched nerve in my shoulder and some intense neck stiffness brought on by building a fence. I was in pain day-to-day and against my better judgement waited a long time before going in. I am very picky with massage therapists, and usually find they do not offer enough pressure or cannot target the specific area I'm looking to treat. James was a pleasure to work with, listened intently and was able to significantly loosen my neck and relieve the tightness I was feeling. He has a strong and smooth touch, and you can tell he is very competent in knowledge of the body. After the session my whole body felt much better! I will definitely be going back.

James is a wonderful and attentive bodyworker. He is considerate and takes the time to really listen. His work is graceful and fluid. I feel amazing after my SOMA sessions with him: taller, more at ease, grounded, less discomfort/pain and also feel a greater range of motion throughout my body. I had a much needed session today with him and afterwards I went to work rejuvenated, invigorated and with a greater sense of focus. Thank you James, I'm looking forward to continuing the SOMA Series with you :)
