The staff here are amazing truly caring, kind, and dedicated to every single animal that comes through their doors. You can tell they love what they do, and it shows in how happy, healthy, and loved the pets are. I come often just to spend time with the dogs, give them treats, and take them on walks, and every visit is such a joy. The whole place feels welcoming, warm, and full of love. If you want to support a group that genuinely puts animals first, this is it and if you want to leave with a happy heart (and maybe a new furry friend), this is the place to be!

I had my feral cat spayed here. She had just had a litter of 4 kittens I socialized and adopted out. She was just over a year old. And was pregnant again, a tiny thing. She learned to trust me ate treats from my lap. I brought her here to be spayed. They were wonderful. She was pretty far along with 4 more kittens. Vet said she was so young and her system depleted from recent pregnancy. He aborted 4 more kittens during the spay said he didn’t feel she’d survive this pregnancy. She healed 2 days in my garage, now lives on my back porch in heated house. A total sweetheart will come in occasionally and eat with my huge 3 Ragdoll cats. I see her eventually wanting to stay in for good. Excellent place to get shots, blood work spayed and ear tipped, and friendly people.

We adopted a cat here and had a great experience. Mona was incredibly helpful and friendly – we asked a million questions, and she took the time to explain every single one! She’s very honest and blunt, but you can tell she genuinely cares about the cats and wants what’s best for them! We would highly recommend Greenville County Animal Care and are grateful for the care and guidance we received.

Went to go adopt a kitten and was told by the rude lady at the kitten department that my account was flagged due to the “incident” last year. We fostered 3 kittens who were litter mates. They were sick with upper respiratory problems when we got them. 2 of them ended up with pneumonia and had to stay there for a couple of weeks to be treated. They are great now. However the 3rd one passed away due to blood sugar tanking. I was told that because we didn’t think to use the emergency kit provided, I couldn’t adopt. Like what?? I took the kitten to the ER and she passed there. How do we know that the emergency kit would have helped or that we wouldn’t have wasted more time when we could have gotten her professional help.
