This practice is operated by a general dentist so beware of him suggesting treatments that shouldn't be done because he hopes to get paid instead. Their billing practices are shady. They will pressure you to attain treatments before being referred to a specialist, along with attempting to force you to pay the full price of something that was never done. The staff here are disappointing. Not only did it feel rushed when I saw the dentist, but the front desk receptionist and whoever else I spoke to on the phone are rude. They will pretend to be nice to set up an appointment, but the moment you ask a question, they can't answer it or will answer it with an attitude. They do not handle things professionally. The office is very professional and friendly. All of the staff (front desk, X-ray tech, and dental hygienist) we great and very knowledgeable. Dr. Corrao DMD was great and very thorough. I highly recommend this office for your dental work.

What an awful experience I had today @ Great Expressions in Island Park NY. I have been an established patient for (2) years paying whatever I was told to pay after insurance for each visit at the time of the visit. Today in my haste, to make sure I was on time I left without my checkbook as this office has chosen to incur the 3% service charge that Merchant Services charges businesses for the convenience of credit cards and they pass it off to their patients. When I explained that I would go next door to the bank (Chase) and get cash I was told it had closed, so the next nearest location was in Oceanside NY, several miles away and the office wanted me to sign a paper stating what amount was due and that they would wait for me to do the appointment. Absolute amazing experience!! The hygienist was a sweetheart and very personable. The dentist was very thorough and explained everything step by step. Looking forward to going back for cleanings.

Haven’t been to dentist in yrs. Actually since last dentist at same location closed down. Always been super scared of going but Needed to be seen asap. From the front desk, to the assistant, to the hygienist ending with the Dentist. OUTSTANDING JOB!! TY to the ENTIRE Staff! I feel so much better and I was Amazed!
