Granger Medical Clinic - Urgent Care, West Jordan

I had symptoms of a very bad cold that was not improving so I visited the West Jordan Granger Clinic. Check in was simple and the receptionist quite pleasant and helpful. My doctor took my complaints very seriously. He did several tests to make sure I was not suffering from something worse than a cold. Then described what I should do to get better. And sent in prescriptions. I was very very well cared for. Than you much.

I appreciate the ability to have access to health care the day needed without having to schedule a future appointment. When we arrived, during check in we were told there was an hour to hour 1/2 wait. We agreed to wait and continued with the check in. We waited approximately 3 hours after check in to be called back. I understand wait times, however, the team went on lunch for an hour while we were waiting. This is what added more time to our wait. We were not communicated to regarding that and I would have gone and got lunch myself or ran a few errands while they were at lunch. We are primary care patients of Granger Medical and we are very happy with our Doctor, Dr Sanderson. The urgent care facility is not the same office.

Front desk Receptionists, was very helpful to clear up my Medicare situation. The Doctor was great, doctor even followed up with the pharmacy and my grandson making sure we received the care needed for his illness. After a day of delays grandson on the way to recovery.

Very impressed with Dr Swensen (spelling). Although I was treated by another student doctor, Dr Swensen took the time to follow up with me even though it was very late in the evening. Both those doctors took the time to follow up with me. My wife & I looked at each other & started crying as this had never happened before. I will definitely spread this story with families friends & colleagues. Thank-you Dr Swensen for your love help & care.

Over all my experience was ok. However there were a few aspects that could have been improved which I feel are worth mentioning. . One main concern was the lack of follow up from the doctor who treated me. I had x rays taken , but never received any explanation regarding results. The doctor was unsure an radiology wasn't in until Monday. It left me uncertain , and I ended up reaching out to my primary doctor to get the information. While I understand doctors are often busy with patience this lack of communication was disappointing. It's important to remember that patients rely on Healthcare providers to give them the best possible treatment and guidance, and the energy and additude of all medical staff can impact that experience.
