My family and I have had such a great experience with Good Steward Health and having Dr Kyla as our doctor! My son has been afraid whenever he gets his checked at the doctor but when he saw Dr Kyla for the first time, he told me after that she was really gentle and he wanted her to be his doctor from now on! As a mom, that was very reassuring, along with how she talked to him kindly and asked him questions in a way he could understand. In my visits with her, I have felt heard, as she asks questions and listens intently. I have learned a lot about what healthy living looks like practically and how to apply it to my own life. I’m excited to keep seeing her, not just for when I get sick, but also to have her as a guide in taking steps to having an overall healthier lifestyle!

I finally found a doctor who truly cares about me! My previous doctor told me I had no options aside from my synthetic prescription medication to treat my thyroid, so I decided to leave his practice. After just a few months with Good Steward Health, Dr. Martin suggested I try a natural thyroid medicine. Her appointment times are an hour long, not just a few rushed minutes. She first discusses diet and doesn't pressure me to use the latest prescription medication. My husband and I love her so much that we will drive two hours one way for an in-person consultation! However, that's rare; most of the time we communicate through email, text, or video chat. Regardless of whether the question is big or small, she is very responsive and explains things in a way I can understand! I highly recommend

Let's start by saying: I hate going to the doctor! ESPECIALLY to talk about things like weight, mood, and even sex. This was one of the most comfortable appointments I have ever had! I didn't feel like she was judging me or belittling me, but instead she was listening and HEARING me. She didn't just try to put me on medication right away, but wanted to find the root of problems so we can address underlying issues for health improvement. I will continue to go back to Doctor Kyla, and encourage anyone on the fence to jump in! You won't be disappointed!
