My husband had a positive rehab experience at GFC. The PT team was very good, especially Christian. Andrew enjoyed PT a lot and had good results. The Social Worker was available and advocated on his behalf with the VA. There was an active social activities team. There was a first rate Prom with staff donating personal time to do hair and make-up. Suits and gowns were provided to residents. It was heartwarming to see and feel the excitement. A disco afternoon with music and strobe lights. Staff and residents dressed up for this too. A Trunk or Treat was another activity for Halloween. Again, staff volunteered personal time to decorate their car trunks in the parking lot, dress in costumes and pass out treats. Some even brought their children. This place is a perfect example of what happens when “health care” goes for-profit. Allow me to echo everything said in the previous one-star reviews. Dirty, old, understaffed, poorest quality employees, no standards at all. There is a minimal level of care that should be afforded to all human beings. This place has forgotten that. Prisons do a better job. My heart goes out to those stuck there, the weakest and most vulnerable, who have no one to advocate for them. Shame on this company and may the “staff” and ownership be visited by karma before they leave this mortal coil.

Front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful with the new sign in policy, nursing staff greeted me with smiles and wishes for the New Year, upon returning from outing, staff asked how the outting went. Very personable.

I would like to reiterate everything that has been said in the one star reviews, as they embody everything that our family member was subjected to. Send your family member to any place but Glens Falls Center for Rehab. They are understaffed, don’t care about the patients (except for a select few aides), and lack the knowledge. It is not a sanitary environment and is not the place for somebody recovering. For a place centered on rehab, it is ironic that they specialize in ensuring that your loved one deteriorate through their neglect. The Medicare ratings are very accurate for this place. You are better off with taking your chances at just about any other place. Do not go to this place at all costs. I would be happy to share our experience with anybody who is considering this awful place.

FAMILIES BEWARE !!!! A father figure (80's ) of mine is currently at this location . I went to visit after him being placed after surgery. He's been at this location for about 3 weeks. 1- No bath of any sorts .. or shown where stuff is to wash up. 2- No change of socks... the non slip 3- Over 2 1/2 hours for someone to come change his dressing . As we were told it would be done after lunch . I was at my wits end . All he would need is an infection and he has a high chance of losing a leg. If I would of any doubts in the care I would of went sooner for a visit. Why press the button for help when all they do is come in and say someone will be in shortly. I walk out in the hall and 3 , you read it right 3 workers just sitting down the hall at a table chatting . This place has lots of
