GIANT Pharmacy

As a former Giant Pharmacy Employee at a different location I just HAD to keep my commitment to filling my personal maintenance meds at a Giant even after moving cities. I even got my partner and our dog to transfer all of our prescriptions here. After talking about how great and caring the giant pharmacy I know was I expected a similar experience. Man was I shocked. This place does not care. The pharmacist has their back to the counter every time I am there and they make as little interaction as possible. The pharmacy technicians either lack knowledge or passion. They come off as so inconvenienced by needing to dispense your medicine or help you in any way. The last two times I have picked up my prescriptions they asked for my information and that was the entire conversation. They rung up

Can’t stand this pharmacy. Had to switch because of Rite Aid closing. Have tried to pick up a needed prescription four times. First time they couldn’t fill it yet, which turned out to be false. The next time they said they sent it back. Today they said it may have been sent to another pharmacy, when that turned out to be wrong they then said it was really expensive so they hadn’t filled it.

Since the one Pharmacist left, thing have been great. Everyone is friendly. I transfered all our perscriptions back to Giant.

Completely unreliable service. I can call in a refill one day and it sits in the queue for over 12 hours nearly every single time. Even when I call and ask for an update and offer to stop in several hours from then, the refill still sits in the queue. I don't know what the issue is (or issues), but a simple refill just doesn't take that long to fill. I have worked in numerous pharmacies over a span of nearly 20 years and Giant is hands down the worst. This location doesn't do the volume that would justify a 12 hour turn around on a non-narcotic, in stock refill. And the male pharmacist is RUDE.

Changing my pharmacy. Phones are down so my doctor unable to send in my prescription, having them send it in to a real pharmacy. I worked retail for years and can say their customer service is not the best. They need work in having their people interact and be more friendly with their customers. I only gave it one star because I could not post it until I clicked on one of them, actually I give them a negative rating.
