UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute

I had my aortic valve replaced in Aug 2020 and had a very good experience and great care with UPMC Williamsport until this week! I called on Tuesday this week (Jan 20,2026) to speak to my physician only to find out that she has left and has not been replaced yet. The person on the phone told me that the other Doctors were covering for my Doctor that left until a replacement is found. I left detailed information with the person on the phone and they told me that someone would get back to me. I waited 24 hours but did not hear anything back so I called again and was told that my message was sent the day before with high priority and they would send the info again with another high priority so now it has been two full business days and still no return calls or answers. I am very disappointe

I visited today(6/25/24)and received excellent care, very impressed. I'm back in the area and at my old home I had UPMC and chose them here and they picked who I would see and the choice has been excellent. Great job UPMC!

Dr. Webb is the best. I first saw her in January and she ordered several tests. I am very thankful to have her as my doctor. My quality of life has considerably improved since becoming her patient. She is very thorough, professional and is easy to talk too. I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for a knowledgeable cardiologist.

Super professional. I'm not sure there is a better team. 6 day stay and home to my daughter's house. Use one pain pill after discharge. Triple bypass went perfectly. One month later and it is hard to hold back. I promise I will behave for a couple of months. Everyone on the team, including the nursing staff, was great. I want to thank each and every one of them.

First time in Heart & Vascular . It was very easy to find. I was seen quickly and receptionist, assistants and nurses were very nice. Professionalism was top notch. Dr Shere was very knowledgeable, easy and comfortable to talk to. I'm very thankful we have UPMC for our medical needs.
