GIANT Pharmacy

I received my prescription in a sandwich bag. Not in a pill bottle or a prescription box. Just a sandwich bag!! It seems a bit white trash to me. I never expected that from a pharmacy.

As someone who has previously worked in Pharmacy, their customer service does not meet expectations. They are very slow and unwilling to help when processing pills. Their day to day service is fine, but if you're planning on asking for a refill just forget it. It probably won't be done until the end of the day and they won't bother to tell you when it's due.

Doctor sent in prescription for 2 prescriptions on Tuesday. Got text saying they didn't have the items and to come Wednesday after 5. I arrived at 6 on Wednesday and was told the 1 item would be another day after 4 and had to wait 20 minutes for the other item. They then checked their other locations and told me they didn't have this item after all and for me to check Walmart and Rite Aid to see if they had it and then could be transferred to Giant. It is now the 3rd day and still don't have the item (which was for pain) and have to contact other pharmacies to see if I can find it. Regardless, I will contact my doctor and have a new prescription sent to that pharmacy and not have item sent to Giant and waste more time.

One star is too much. Took my mother there recently to get her prescriptions filled. The young lady dressed like she was at a yoga class was very unprofessional and rude. She definitely should NOT be handling anyone’s medication. I mentioned it to her doctor and he said he heard complaints from some of his other patients as well. Good customer service goes a long way. Do better Giant.

At least one out of every four times that I buy any frozen dessert from Giant I bring it home to discover that it is been thawed out and refrozen and it is gross. This time it was three boxes of Luigi Italian ices. I don't know why I keep coming back to your store. You are the most expensive store in Whitehall and considering that I pay the most for everything you would think that you would not have this problem. I'm sticking with Redner's and Aldis from now on.
