Giant Pharmacy

Whoever the pharmacist is who is currently working @ 4:48 pm on 4/28/25 is extremely rude and unprofessional. I waited on the line for 40 minutes to call in a prescription for a patient and was greeted with an attitude and "you chose to wait to call it in you could have left a voicemail". We typically recommend this pharmacy to our clients as a busy veterinary facility but not anymore. Thank you for the negative experience. Mind you the pharmacist didn't even introduce themselves. I did my due diligence to wait as I know prescriptions aren't always clearly given over voicemail and wanted to ensure our client had everything they needed. I was greeted with smart unnecessary remarks. After I finished my statement for the prescription, the pharmacist hung up on me before I even had the chance

We've never had any atrocious experiences. There's been a couple super transient assistants, not worth a nickel, that left quick enough fortunately. Pharmacist gents are professional, knowledgeable, and help out when they can and, best of all, they seem to remember you fairly well. Never a problem asking questions and getting answers.

I’ve been coming here for 3 years. I have always received good customer service here. They are so helpful for any of my needs. I can’t say enough how great it is to finally find a nice pharmacy without the chaos from CVS, which is the worse. Thank you Giant!

I agree with others that have mentioned this pharmacy's inability to hold themselves accountable to the schedule they tell the customer. I dropped off a prescription and was told it would be ready in 45 minutes. I returned 2.5 hours later and it still was not filled and they told me I would have to wait an additional 30 minutes. This is not the first time I've had this experience at this particular pharmacy. Absolutely no accountability and they clearly have not respect for the time a customer has to take to drive more than one time to the pharmacy because they are unable to stick to the schedule they tell the customer. I won't be returning to this pharmacy again.

I have never had an issue having my prescriptions filled at the Giant pharmacy in Dunkirk. They are always available and ready to go on time. Also the pharmacist who was disparaged in a previous review has administered a tetanus vaccine to me! He is not only qualified and knowledgeable, he is a pleasant and courteous individual. I have interacted with him many times as I have been a customer at this particular location for almost 10 years.
