Gentle Dental Fairwood

The staff is great. The people I interacted with all seem like they legitimately care. At the end of the day it is a job for them and all you can really hope for is that they are honest and treat you fairly and I feel like I get that here. I have what I would describe as worse than average dental anxiety, hard veins to draw from, and my dad is nice enough to tag along with me which takes up room in the already small area and they go with it all in stride. They go beyond my personal expectations. Dr Volland speaks and acts in a way that I can understand and I appreciate that he will spend an extra minute or two of his valuable time explaining something to me. All in all, I would recommend.

Gentle Dental is the best choice for my kids braces. Reasons: 1. They were transparent with pricing and able to quote me quickly. 2. Knowledgeable with insurance plans and followed up to ensure correct coverage 3. Best pricing around. I checked another location and quoted much higher which would mean much higher out of pocket costs 4. Came up with a good plan for my kids regarding the number of months required for the specific needs 5. Easy to schedule with many options 6. The location is perfect for us. They are located in the Fairwood neighborhood of Renton. 7. Friendly, professional staff. 1000% I would recommend.

Had tooth pain. Went in for examine. Was told I should start with deep cleaning. Called back the next day to schedule appointment receptionist tells me that I need to go to a different location. The dentist that I saw was a replacement. She said if I wish to come back to the Fairwood location I would need to have a new exam and X-ray. Asked if I would have to repay for those services and she said yes. I wonder what they did with the X-rays I took yesterday. Dont they have a patient profile or something? I thought this was ludacris. I didn't want to have a negative back and fourth just before the holidays. If that is the policy I understand. Not everyone had dental insurance. Dr. Kanwarjot Kaur Bassi is hands-down the best dentist I’ve ever had! She is incredibly skillful, gentle, and truly cares about her patients’ comfort. From the moment I walked in, the entire experience was stress-free. She explained everything clearly, took her time to make sure everything was perfect, and the results speak for themselves — my teeth look and feel amazing!

I received dental services at the Fairwood Gentle Dental location, but billing statements have been coming from a different location where I did not receive care. Despite multiple calls to both offices and my insurance company confirming that no claim has been submitted, I continue to receive bills. My insurance has even contacted this office directly, yet the issue remains unresolved. This appears to be a breakdown in internal coordination between locations. I am currently disputing the balance due to failure to bill insurance and am hoping this can be resolved promptly, as patients should not have to manage billing communication between offices. I’m sharing this to encourage clearer insurance handling and better follow-through for future patients.
