Gentle Dental 45th Street

I booked an appointment on the phone, and was told the new patient comprehensive exam and x ray is $40, and then I’ll have to pay for the cleaning cost afterwards. I was also told on the phone that the general cleaning would be starting at $89 and that I could also schedule a braces/aligners consultation on the same day. So, I booked an appointment for the $40 plan + cleaning and a braces/aligners consultation. So those were my 2 appointments. Once I get there, the 1st receptionist tells me that they won’t be able to do my braces/aligners consultation today and that the comprehensive exam & x ray is $50. I explain (calmly and politely) what I was told on the phone when I booked for the appointments. She was annoyed but she understood it was their mistake, not mine. She told me that I talke

I had a lovely experience here! The doctors and techs are all incredibly friendly and thorough. They explained every step as we went through and offered amazing peace of mind. There was some confusion at the front desk, but they worked to resolve it same day! Highly recommend this office!

We switched to Gentle Dental because our previous dentist no longer accepted our insurance. Both my husband and I feel that they were less than honest with the amount of dental work they said we both need. Our previous dentist never mentioned all of these issues or we would have had them taken care of. We are not going to stay with Gentle Dental.

My hygienist, Rosemary is amazing! She’s been caring for my teeth for over 13th years now and I love her professional work and her kindness! I always look forward seeing her every six months!

Dr. Ashraf did a great job. He explained everything to me and answered all my questions about the procedure. When I needed to talk to him a week after the surgery, he promptly returned my call and patiently answered my additional questions. His assistant (whose name I can't recall) was very helpful, too, and she had a very upbeat personality.
