I have been going to this clinic for 10-20 years. A long time. I noticed when they moved to the new clinic on Cantrell the atmosphere had changed, but I pressed on. I had a 9:00 a.m. appointment this morning. I got there right before 9:00 due to issues leaving my house - not that they asked or cared. I had already done the paperwork online, so there was literally nothing left to do but walk to the back. When I checked in, the person at the front told me I was supposed to be there 30 minutes early. Track with me here. 30 minutes early for my nine o'clock appointment. My appointment time was NOT 8:30. The girl at the front desk called to the back to talk to the nurse of the ARPN, Matthew Taylor, who I was passed on to at my time before last appointment. The nurse told the front des

Good Dr. but you are asked to arrive early for an appt and they aren’t even open before your 7:30 appt. Why ask me to be early to wait especially when I already have a hour drive ahead of me. They treated my time as it is invaluable. Not sure I’ll be back after this visit. Update. Checked in and 30 minutes later still waiting. I won’t be back.

I've been dealing with a lot of nonspecific health issues for several years, and lately the digestive issues have become unbearable. My PCP referred me to GastroArkansas, where I was seen by Matthew Taylor. He has been so respectful, and very willing to hear my concerns and help me reason with them (as I am sometimes a hypochondriac.) They quickly scheduled me for EGD/colonoscopy, and discovered several colon polyps, two were pre-cancerous and fully removed all three. At 27 years old this was a shock to me. Given I still have GI issues, they haven't stopped there. I underwent a capsule endoscopy last week for the small intestine, and am awaiting results now. Hopefully this is the end of the road and I can find resolution for the digestive problems I've been having. If not next week, how

Dr. Johnson seemed interested in finding my daughters health issue at first. After one procedure, he literally gave up. We never received follow-up information, appointment, nothing! He knew the history of doctors we had seen and long journey it had been. When you are given up on by your doctor you get the impression they think you're making things up. We have since found another doctor that after one simple procedure and a scope, diagnosed my daughters condition. A doctor that was surprised no previous physicians had ever done such basic testing. If a doctor doesn't know the answer, admit it and help recommend someone who might!

I arrived on time for my appointment. After waiting 20 minutes I was called to the front desk where I was told because I was “late” they would need to reschedule my appointment. Apparently you are supposed to arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to be on time. They kept the $75 copay I paid upfront. I was a repeat patient and they couldn’t have cared less. Now I have to get a new referral from my primary. I do not recommend this place.
