I am very impressed with the staff at Fullerton Animal Hospital. I was previously a client over 15 years ago and moved further north so for the past 6+ years my service has been with another animal hospital. I no longer want to continue my pet care for my dog at this other hospital as I disagree with their protocol to require sedation for service. So, I called Fullerton Animal Hospital on Tuesday morning, spoke to someone immediately, and got a same day appointment for a new patient. I would like to express how easy our first appointment for my dog was. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The vet tech was kind, understanding and informative. Dr. Dan was very approachable, thoughtful, professional, and calming. My dog will be 7 this month and this was the easiest visit I ever ha

UPDATE: I have to say that I feel let down and quite honestly, cheated at this point. Since Midnight's $800 visit, I've heard absolutely nothing from Fullerton Animal Hospital. Surprisingly no one has called to follow up with her care or her current state of being. No one has called to schedule her follow-up appointment or to schedule her vaccination appointment. Furthermore I haven't even gotten a response to this review, nor has it been acknowledged! As money hungry as this establishment appears, it's unusual for them to not call, not even once. I really feel like they know they did wrong. I think they are too guilty to even face me through the phone!! I will not be going back to Fullerton Animal Hospital., nor will I recommend them. I'm not sure what happened at my visit, maybe the ve

This was my first visit to this clinic, and unfortunately it was an extremely disappointing experience. I brought my senior cat in for bloodwork and a consultation regarding a severe dental infection. He is a former feral cat and very skittish with new people, so I specifically requested ahead of time that he not be taken “in the back.” The staff agreed to this prior to our appointment. When Dr. Daniel Zakai entered the room, he was immediately loud and rough in his handling. He attempted to pry my cat’s mouth open despite being told that his mouth is extremely painful due to infection. My cat panicked, and I had to tell him to stop. Instead of adjusting his approach, he became visibly frustrated. Despite my clearly stated boundary, they then attempted to take my cat into the back for b

I just adopted a puppy from the SPCA on the 22nd of Dec. By the 24th my new pup was showing signs of being ill (I thought). As a new pup parent I started to get extremely worried. I called Fullerton Animal Hospital, which I already had my new fur baby's first puppy appoint. with for January. They were closing early for the holiday with no openings. So, I called the SPCA to see if they could check her to make sure she was ok, but they couldn't. I called all over trying to get my pup seen, but it was Christmas Eve. & all vets were closing early. Now in a panic, I called Fullerton Animal Hospital back. To my surprise the gal asked, "Can you be here in one hour?" They were squeezing me in!! When we got there, they were so kind. The vet saw my puppy, looked at her chart from the SPCA. Saw she a
