I had cause to visit Express Care twice this week i wish I could give 2 different reviews here, as I experienced an issue with the admin/record keeping/policy side of my experience, but only have nice things to say about everyone else i encountered. Both times I checked in, those ladies were kind and funny. The nurses/MAs, all very kind, patient, caring, professional. NP Jeffrey Rhodes, and Dr. Cayde-Leslie were great, esp the Dr.,who really listened and seemed genuinely interested in getting to the bottom of my issue. My problem is needing someone to complete a couple of forms for work and forward all my chart notes and test results to a third party for my employer. That's it, should be nbd. But apparently it is. I had gone in on a Saturday for what ended up being a scratched cornea. My eye was constantly itching, watering and unable to keep it open. Staff saw me right away, numbed it, and gave me antibiotic drops with instructions to see my eye doctor on Monday. Very efficient and compassionate!

Suddenly being charged money from a visit that should have been covered by my insurance, I have had the same insurance for years and never been charged extra. I saw Joyce Stamiris and I’m being charged for the visit? I guess you don’t accept HIP or Anthem all of a sudden or you’re trying to scam me and my insurance, no one told me if you didn’t accept it (which should be required to notify people before seeing them) and if she wasn’t in my network I should have been notified because I’m not paying. I can’t pay. I am disabled. I have no income. My insurance that has been the same for years, no changes and I have been coming here for years but now suddenly I’m being charged for me visit? Very sus to me and seems like some kind of malpractice or not properly billing insurance to squeeze every

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Hands down, the best staff from the front staff to the assistants and NPs. They are all hardworking, and organized. They are very skilled with children and mom's that are obviously going through it. This place is a breath of fresh air. I just want to thank you all for being so kind and understanding to my situation today. I hope you are all treated with the same kindness and grace you all give.

I came in because I had been experiencing extreme pain in my right kidney. The male NP asked me if I had ever had kidney stones before. I told him yes but this wasn't the same pain. He drew blood and did a CAT scan. Nothing showed up. He put me on an antibiotic and released me. I sent my urologist a My Chart message the next day as the pain was worse. He did a urinalysis and.found out I had E Coli and onThe male nursee other contaminate. Not only being rude to me but he didn't do a urinalysis. This is the first time I was treated so rudely by the male NP
