Forest Hills Pharmacy

Fantastic pharmacy with highly skilled staff. Not just in the pharmaceutical trade but in interpersonal communication as well. I've read a few reviews stating they are rude or incompetent; this is only a reflection of the person making the review. Walgreens across the road made me wait 15 minutes with zero response at the drive up pharmacy, then told me it would be a minimum of 3 hours to fill a prescription received 3 days prior. I had my doctor change my prescription to FHP. When I arrived at FHP they tried to fill the prescription but showed me how Walgreens already billed my insurance 3 days ago! Incompetent. Gave wrong prescription dose, I paid for it and when I brought it to their attention, all I got was “I’m sorry” Doctor sent in another prescription with explicit instructions. They wanted me to pay again . Had an appointment for shot and 20 minutes after appointment I asked about my time and the pharmacist said “ I’m sorry, I can’t do it”. They always seemed to be sorry instead of “Let me fix this”. Shows the level of Leadership or lack of.

I love the small town feel of this local pharmacy. They are always pleasant and I’ve never had a problem with them.

I left this pharmacy years ago due to the fact they NEVER carried any of the meds I needed and I always had to wait at least a day to get it or just went somewhere else because I couldn’t wait on them to get it together. My doctor apparently wasn’t aware I switched so called in an eye drop to this pharmacy once again. They called me to tell me it was 219.00! Being that the prescription wasn’t supposed to be called in to THEM (I did not disclose that fact) I asked them if they could perhaps transfer the script over to the Lowell Meijer pharmacy. Lady was all “you have up call them and ask them to request it then we will “ so very helpful! So I called Lowell to tell them what this gal told me and she said that was ridiculous. Forest Hills most certainly could have just transferred it over.

I was in a pinch because my normal pharmacy is now closed on Saturdays. Walgreens (across the street) was so rude. Tammy was wonderful, beyond “normal” helpful.
