Flitman Stephen S MD - 21st Century Neurology

I would have given a 5 star rating if it weren't for the fact that he doesn't have any nurses there. He has a medical assistant which is great and all but this medical assistant basically refused to find a way to get me in to see the doctor sooner than 5 months even though I've been in the hospital for 3 months. All for neurologic reasoning. To me it sounds like Dr. Flitman is most likely unaware of what this so called medical assistant is doing or not doing. Don't get me wrong Dr. Flitman is well worth the wait if you are a new patient or even older patients so don't not see him because of my review. This review is to warn you to be aware of the staff he surrounds himself with. He's a great insightful, smart, empathetic doctor. I just really need to see him after a three month Stent in

I have been seeing Flitman for almost 20 years. I had been misdiagnosed by 3 other neurologist. Thankful I was referred to flitman while he was doing research through the Muhammad Ali center. He is the most all around knowledgeable doctor of any doctor I have ever met. He actually caught some errors my other specialist have made. He also in a matter of minutes correctly diagnosed a non-brain related ailment I had been suffering with for years that 3 other specialist were dumbfounded by. He is a freaking genius.

Dr. Flitman is amazing. He is very thorough and thoughtful and has a great “bedside” manner. Each time I have gone to his office I feel like he has listened to me and will do whatever he can to diagnose and help resolve my symptoms.

Dr. Flitman is an amazing Neurologist. He has treated myself and family for years! We highly recommend him.

We presented health insurance for the 1st visit and because insurance doesn’t cover all and ends up being more expensive for us using the insurance and is cheaper to pay cash, we requested to pay cash for the 2nd visit. Office Manager refused to let us pay cash, she said that it will have to be bill to the insurance and we couldn’t pay cash, I didn’t wanted to argue since we really needed an answer from the doctor, but because of the DISHONESTY of the Office Manager or Doctor who knows. We are not going back. We started to look for an honest place to seek treatment. Also, if they send you to get MRI is cheaper to pay cash for the MRI.
