Express Care Andover

I have been there a few times and experienced professional and personal comfort and good treatment. However today, I felt like I was being rushed in and out by the doctor. And when I ask for something, she made a joke out of it. I thought that was very rude of her and very unprofessional. I have had good service before and hopefully I will get good service in the future. I was there today and the service was like good. I will write it off as an anomaly of someone who needs training in Dr patient relationship. I spoke to the manager who was affable, competent and kind. We resolved our differences. I was very impressed. So I raised the star as a reciprocal gesture.

On Friday (Aug 29, 2025) evening, I arrived at Express Care Andover with a deep cut in my hand. A couple in front of me was checking in. The woman at the front desk looked at me and informed me that the clinic was closing at 7 pm, and the last patient to check in was at 6:30 pm. She emphasized that this couple was the last one. My wife and I were asking if we could be seen, because it was 6:28 pm. However, she refused again, stating that she didn’t know what to tell us because this was the last patient. This experience was the most unprofessional and unkind I’ve ever had at a medical center. I had to visit another clinic in Tewksbury. I called ahead to inquire about their closing time. They informed me that their closing time is 8 pm, and as long as we arrive by 8, we would be accommodate

I work at a school for autistic children in the area and I have always been truly impressed with their dedication, patience, and understanding when it comes to our students. Recently I met Dr. Nelson Matos and his nurses during a last minute visit with a student. He had such a calm demeanor and was very knowledgeable. It was a really wonderful experience and his caring nature could definitely be felt by my anxious student. His whole team was very warm and inviting and made the whole visit go much smoother. Apart from work, I’ve often taken my own child for various situations and every time the Express Care Team has been professional, caring, and knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend.

Extremely rude staff. You might get lucky and get a decent doctor who care but it's rare. Staff give life altering diagnosis like it's nothing and hangs up on you when you start asking questions as well as talking over you. Just go to your normal doctor where you know you'll be treated right. This place doesn't care about patient care.

The physical therapist (a female with glasses) on the third floor is kinda rude. But, when we went to the second or third appointment, there was another female therapist who was really professional. After that impression we decided not to go there anymore. This was at Lawrence General Outpatient Rehabilitation Clinic.
