Dentistry by Design

The professional service is excellent; however, I recently had a negative experience on the account side where I received a $1100 surprise bill post-treatment. They never personally explained why the bill exceeded the treatment plan cost estimate by such a significant margin. After reviewing the statements, which took a while because of mistakes they made in filing the insurance information, much of the cost overage appears to be tied to work they forgot to quote in the treatment plan. So, they don't quote it, or provide an opportunity for patient consent (or cost clarity), and apparently I still have to pay it. It doesn't strike me as being particularly fair or ethical, but here we are. Also, still no apology.

Great care by Dr. Kahn and an amazing cleaning with Rebecca! Seriously, it felt like a spa treatment. The music playlist was awesome and her precision with the tools made a huge difference with my experience. All the best equipment, too. Thanks DbyD!!

Such a wonderful team! Dr. Fitzgerald is amazing. I wouldn't want any other dentist to work on my teeth. He's caring, thorough, and very knowledge. Katherine his assistant is the best! I have loads of laughs with her.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Mariam Khan and the team at Dentistry by Design. I was "a little" late getting back to the dentist since the pandemic and had noticed some changes at the practice since my last visit—including the departure of my previous dentist! Truth be told, I started looking at dentists closer to home for convenience. But an unexpected chip in my crown brought me back to Dentistry by Design, which was able to accommodate me the same day. From the moment I walked in, Keishla at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful that even the dreaded paperwork was a breeze. From there, the experience kept getting better. I absolutely lucked out with the dynamic duo of Dr. Khan and Joselyn. Their empathy and sense of humor immediately put me at ease, and, dare I say, mad
