Exceptional Dentistry of Jeffersonville

I experienced the absolute worst service at Exceptional Dentistry Jeffersonville IN. Also known as "Shoemaker Family Dentistry". The Absolute rudeness and ridiculous encounter with the receptionist ever at their Jeffersonville Indiana location! I had an appointment, do to a Failure of a Crown I had done here in the summer of 2022! After completing my paperwork, I walked up to the receptionist at the counter. She looked over my paperwork and said who is your Dental Insurance now. I said my HR advised all I need to do is give you my SS# and you all can find it that way. She "Very Rudely" responded, in a ridiculous aggressive voice and tone, "that is not how it works here". Your HR lady doesn't work here. She offered no assistance in finding out who my insurance is or advice how to find out.

I love Dr Shoemaker & all of her staff. They are all so friendly & down to earth. They make you feel very comfortable no matter what issues you are dealing with. I recently finished up Invisalign treatment with them & Dr Shoemaker did a fabulous job! I’m so glad someone recommended them to me a few years ago. 😊

I cannot say enough good things about this practice. I have been through several unfortunate dental experiences during both of my pregnancies. Every single person including Sarah with the front desk, all of the dental hygienists (they are ALL amazing), Dr Shoemaker/Dr Hammond has always been extremely kind, reassuring, gentle and does their very best to see me as soon as possible. Urgent issues as well as routine care are an absolute pleasure. Even the specialists they have referred me to have been wonderful and feel specifically chosen for their excellent patient care. I will drive miles out of my way to continue going here. Every person here has a love for patients as well as for what they do. They are simply the best!

I have been going to Shoemaker Family Dental for over 2 years now and from day one they have been absolutely amazing. EVERYONE there is so friendly and personable. They really do make you feel like your comfort is very important. They explain everything and tell you what to expect. I don't like going to the dentist but I love going there. I could go on all day! Absolutely wonderful!

After switching insurance I needed to find another Dental Office. I am very particular about any care I receive and after doing some research decided to try this place out. They did NOT let me down! Tiffany, my hygienist was AMAZING! She was very friendly and walked me through everything. Dr. Shoemaker was also amazing and we set up a plan to take care of my jaw issue. I would recommend this place for sure!
