Exceptional Community Hospital - Ardmore

This is undeniably my first stop when needed. I walked in, went to the desk, and when I turned around to go sit in the waiting room there was the Triage Nurse already waiting on me to take me back. I went straight back and I had just got in the door when the Nurses and P.A. walked in behind me. I was really impressed because they were actually listening to what I was saying and wanting to help me. I was in and out in under 2 hours and that was with blood work, X-Rays, and a CT Scan. All procedures were done and read and reaults given to me before I let. Dr. Harold N. Cleaver, DO, was great. He listened and he covered all the basis allowed to him in the facility. I was in Ardmore for a meeting and needed to visit the ER. My local colleagues sent me to Exceptional, and I'm so glad they did. The woman at the front desk was so kind and effective. I was in an exam room in minutes. My nurse, Victoria, was compassionate and caring. Dr. Clayton communicated throughout the process and took the time to explain my test results to me. Every staff member was thoughtful and just amazing. I highly recommend this facility! Thank you for taking such good care of me.

I can’t thank the team enough for the care I received. Dealing with shooting pain is never easy, but the staff made my visit as comfortable as it could be. The wait was minimal, and the entire process was seamless. I especially want to shout out provider Patricia and nurse Chris for their kindness, and the CT tech who was so attentive and friendly. They really helped me get what I needed and back on my way quickly.

My husband was treated here after having a surgery in OKC. We were taken straight in, bloodwork was done immediately, and they completed a CT scan within less than an hour. The staff continually checked on us while we waited. Tammy Key was very informative and very helpful regarding check in and offering assistance on paperwork. Other staff members also demonstrated the utmost care for my husband. The Dr. called OKC to talk to other doctors that we had seen over the last week, and he shared and compared scans and bloodwork to ensure nothing was missed. This is our first time going to Exceptional Community Hospital, and we were so pleased with the care we received! Ardmore is so blessed to have this facility!

The in-take "nurse" who took us back had NO IDEA what she was doing and had a bad attitude. She made a bad situation worse. The xray person and the older gray hair lady (assuming doctor???) were very nice and professional. Reception was very friendly too.
