I had my first visit at Essington Family Dental, and I was impressed! Maggie took x-rays and answered my questions. Lisa was an excellent hygienist, and Dr. Hatia was personable and explained everything so I could understand. Everyone was friendly and professional! They have new technology that meant I could get a new night guard without having to take impressions. I was really impressed with their Comfort Menu to help ease any discomfort. It made me feel like they really cared to make my experience pleasant.

I was a patient here for many years and always loved the office staff. However, about two years ago the experience started to change. I was repeatedly encouraged to get veneers, and I finally agreed. I informed the staff member who handles pricing that my insurance would be ending at the end of the month. She told me, “Then let’s get it done,” so I moved forward. I paid $4,000 out of pocket and put on a credit card. Part of the treatment included spacers to help my teeth move. I work in sales and am outdoors often. I was told I could take them out to eat, but I was never informed that they must be worn all day and night. Because of my schedule, I couldn’t put them back in until I got home. Communication is great! My treatment plan and all scans and x-rays were all presented and explained to me, so there were no surprises. My exam and cleaning were painless and thorough. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for a practice that cares!

As a child I had negative experiences and became scared to get dental care. I got the best possible treatment on yesterday. Everything went so much better than I ever could have imagined. It took much longer for the procedure but my dentist wanted to be precise and took an x-ray during the treatment process. I've literally experienced absolutely no pain or swelling. The root canal was easier than my cleaning.
