Emergency Dental Care

This place is absolutely the worst place to go. The secretary is about 100 years old and doesn’t seem to know what she’s doing. I called to get an appointment and she said “what’d someone punch you in the face?” I got there and she was trying to get me to have a root canal- my tooth wasn’t worth saving. I was going to be charged before even having a consult with the dentist. I told her you can’t pull a tooth with an active infection and that I needed antibiotics and she goes “oh yeah everyone wants antibiotics that’s the cure all” excuse me? Then as people left she would mock them and say things like “they’ll be back Monday with a swollen face and they’ll wish they had gotten work done” sounds ignorant to me. She kept forcing me to pay $250 just to see dentist and wanted another $350 for t

I had to hang up mid call with these people. I asked if they took insurance and they said they collect the money up front and then file to insurance... That's okay. So I asked of a general non specific estimate of what she's seen needed to be collected up front (I need to know if it's hundreds of thousands) and she replied "how am I suppose to know. I haven't seen him, I don't know if he even has brown hair or yellow hair!" In the most demening tone. I work for a medical office and understand estimates can be dicey but there's a way to approach it so that way the patient is informed on the significace of their financial obligations.
