So thankful for the care my cat Bro received. We were out of the country to see family over the holidays, and Bro had a bout of pancreatitis. The clinic worked with my cat sitter, and we were able to stay in contact and make payment online. Bro had to stay there for a few days, and the staff sent regular updates and pictures for me. The Dr was direct and easy to understand, and gave recommendations that made decision making easy (and they were non judgmental). Is it expensive? Maybe , but this is an after hours emergency clinic. They were open on the holidays (my cat was brought in overnight and treated over Christmas Eve and Christmas), and had it not been for their care, my cat would have suffered a lot of pain and possibly have died. So happy there is an emergency clinic near me! One of our cats was attacked by a dog and they got us in promptly, evaluated her injuries, and treated her shock. Luckily she didn’t have any broken bones and didn’t require surgery. They cared for her like she was one of their own and even followed up the next day to see how she is doing ❤️ She is enjoying all the extra attention at home and recovering well 🐱 Thank you Emergency Animal Clinic of Topeka! My sweet baby had an allergic reaction, of course at 9pm on a Thursday when our vet was not open. During the initial phone call, they were clear about expectations regarding potential services and prices. Once we were at the clinic, we were in and out within 40 minutes! The staff was caring and thorough with my babies care, even calling to follow up the next day. 24 hours later and he’s looking back to normal! Thank you Dr. Joy Thayer and the amazing staff- it’s SO hard to watch your puppy walk away with someone else, but I know he was in great hands.

Not impressed at all. They did the initial care needed but tranferred to kstate for further care. Walking in with a seriously wounded animal after having called 45mins prior I would have expected them to be ready but was told to sit in the waiting rm after having driven 90mph to get there on time to save my dogs life. Was treated like I was there for a regular vet checkup. Took a bit for the vet or even a tech to come out. It was weird. While the vet did xrays and treatment she just wasnt confident in diagnosing. They were very nice(except for one front desk lady who was very annoyed when I wanted an itemized receipt) but when im paying thousands im not looking for nice, but rather smart vets/techs who are competent and confident. All turned out well but ended up at kstate where we should

They helped me so much when my little buddy was sick. Yes they can be expensive like any other vet but they know what to do to help our pets
