Elm Wood Center

I've visited my loved one here multiple times and noticed staff seem stressed and unsupported especially those dealing with mental health issues, who get little help or understanding. Male staff (like LNA) also appear treated unfairly with worse shifts and less consideration. When employees are undervalued, it shows in the care my family members receives. I wouldn't recommend this facility.

Very friendly, family atmosphere. Patient suggested that she did not get her desert. Did not remember getting a shower in last week. She was told Wednesdays but did not get one yesterday. Just observations recognized while listening to conversations. Otherwise. clean neat location inside. Nice place to visit.

My mother was here after a fall and had fabulous care. Great nursing and rehab team! Was able to rehab enough to return home. Very happy with everything

If I could rate it lower I would. Most of the people working there are great, but the facilities and food, well I really can’t say on this review, but the food is horrendous and they need a new cook. My father lost 22 pounds in 5 weeks and only had two showers. I would highly recommend nobody to go there or to send their loved ones there. I’ll never bring or allow my father to go there ever again!!!

From the first day I came the staff were very kind and helpful. The nursing staff was very caring and knowledgeable . The LNA's were always pleasant and I did not have a long wait once I rang my bell. If they couldn't help me, they found someone that could. Elm Wood is very well kept and all staff from nursing, rehab, kitchen and housekeeping made my experience the best one yet.
