I went through a nasty child custody battle back in 2013. One step in the process was a court-mandated psych evaluation for myself and my son done by Dr. Elaine Zimmerman. I realize I am a stranger to you, but all I can say is that I love my son unconditionally and have an inextricable bond with him. I would not have chosen to go this legal route unless I found it to be necessary. It was necessary. For reasons I cannot fully understand, the moment I walked into this office - Dr. Zimmerman did not like me. A long time ago, almost 30 years ago now, she demonstrated her very strong ethical and emotional intelligence. She was able to clearly see through lies others were telling her.
