I feel this facility could definitely use more staff. My father’s right hearing aid was lost and he is wearing clothing that is not his when I visit. Staff have interviewed him without his hearing aids in and he cannot put them in his ears himself. The food seems alright and the place is fairly clean.

Hi, my grandmother was here for a couple of days and they were already doing things wrong. The bed had stains on the bottom, there food here was disgusting the people who worked here didn't even check on her until we came to visit, their call button was broken which anything bad can happen and they wouldn't even know about it. And they had the audacity to blame it on my grandmother. I would not recommend this place if your parents or grandparents are really sick and needed help. I wish I can give this place zero stars, plus they also had rude nurses really yelling at my mother and my grandmother like it was there fault wow.

If I could give this place a negative rating I would!! This is the worst place on earth! Short staffed doesn’t even begin to describe it! There were times when there was only one aide on duty and no nurse and as far as I know that’s illegal! They lied about my mom’s progress to her insurance company by telling the insurance she no longer needed skilled nursing care when they hadn’t even attempted to get her out of bed in the two weeks she was there following a broken hip!! Plus they didn’t tell me that the insurance wasn’t paying for her stay any longer until they were no longer paying for her stay! We have since moved her out but that took 4 days and Sunny Ridge charged us over $500 A DAY for those four days!! Now they’re hounding us for payment when they (especially PT) did absolutely no

I was a patient here for PT for 12 days, following hernia repair surgery, as my abdominal muscles were too weak for me to sit up without assistance. My stay was so abominably bad I reported the facility to the state, which found several violations of law. The facility was ordered to file, get approval for, and execute a plan of remediation. Since it is still open, I assume they have fixed at least the most egregious problems, but I wouldn't want to stay there again, nor have anyone I care about do so. Good luck to you and your loved ones if you or they have to go here.

Horrible experience with a loved one. She was treated like a animal. Left sitting in her own urine for a lengthy period of time, understaffed, rude nurses, rooms have mold on ceilings and walls, food was horrible. My loved one was not bathed in over 3 days, not even washed up. Always smell like urine. Never will recommend this place, not even to my worst enemy
