We have been looking into orthodontist for a couple years for my daughter. I was not comfortable with the 2 step braces process and others wanted her to have oral surgery first. We decided to wait. Dr Shows agreed that she should wait and see what her teeth do. Thanks to him we saved ourselves an oral surgery and thousands of dollars over the years. We truly enjoy going to Dr. Shows. He is up front and honest from the beginning and let us know it will be a process for my daughter's teeth. He has a good sense of humor and always asks how we are doing. All the other staff has been kind and respectful.

Horrible customer service, and super rude phone assistance. Uneducated and rude. Unacceptable. If they can’t handle a customer service job then don’t get it. Customer service is supposed to be welcoming. Disgusting behavior. They were super mean to my mother on the phone because she had an accent. Makes me feel discriminated.

We are new family still in the waiting process with insurance, so don't have a long history to report at this time, but so far everything has gone well and my son likes the office and staff. Dr. Shows seems to be really comfortable talking with teens.

I had an extremely negative experience with this orthodontist and would never recommend him to anyone. Not only was he dismissive, but his attitude toward both me and my child was completely unprofessional and demeaning. He implied that my child did not need braces yet, but in a way that undermined the medical reasoning given by her doctor, saying he had “never heard of it in 40 years of practice.” He even went as far as to suggest that my child’s speech impediment was something “most parents get lazy over,” essentially calling me a lazy parent. I drove over an hour and a half for this appointment, only to be met with disrespect and a lack of compassion—two things you would expect an orthodontist working with children to have. Overall satisfied with the care provided for my daughter. The doctor and his team are amazing! Receptionists have always been kind and professional. Thanks to Dr Shows and his care team, my daughter has found a new sense of self confidence.....smiling without hesitation or shame. She's always been nothing less than beautiful, it's a shame to think that at one time, she had believed that she was anything BUT that, all because of some ill-mannered kids, bullying.
