Eastlake Urgent Care

Very disappointing experience with Eastlake Urgent Care. Unfortunately, this place is extremely disorganized and does not respect patients’ time. I scheduled appointments multiple times, and twice my appointments were canceled because the doctor was unavailable. On another occasion, I arrived 20 minutes early for my scheduled appointment, but after waiting more than 30 minutes, I was told that I needed to go to urgent care instead. When I finally went there, a woman who introduced herself as a nurse told me she had already reviewed my lab results and that everything was fine and I should continue what I had been doing for the past three months. I clearly explained that I had scheduled the appointment to see a specialist, not a nurse. I was then told that the doctor was busy and unavailab

I recently visited Eastlake Urgent Care, and the staff there treated me very well, gave me a battery of tests, and answered all my questions and worries in a way that made me feel respected and heard. All the staff there --especially Daisy, the provider that was assigned to me-- were caring, concerned, and intelligent. I highly recommend them; I have seen a lot of different providers over the years, and they are superior!

I’ve taken my mother to EastLake Urgent Care three times for the same issue: a severe cough that keeps her from sleeping, chest pain, and no relief from OTC medications. Each visit we’ve waited over an hour to be seen. Only one time did she see a doctor—twice she was seen by a nurse/NP who ultimately prescribed medications that are essentially over-the-counter (the same types of meds she had already tried), so her condition has not improved despite multiple visits. This isn’t an emergency-room situation, but it absolutely is an urgent-care situation, and we left each time feeling like her symptoms weren’t taken seriously or treated effectively. I recently visited this new urgent care seeking a diagnosis/treatment for pneumonia. Very nice place and with nice people. Unfortunately, although their website listed x-rays as a service offered, the machine was not operational yet. Instead of being informed upfront, I was taken in for an evaluation and ultimately referred to another location for an x-ray. This resulted in a delay and hassle, as I had to go the next day for the x-ray at another location and haggle with them to take me in since they had no available appointments. Then I had to wait another day for the results. Consequently, I experienced a delay in receiving the necessary medication to start my recovery as they needed x-ray results to subscribe antibiotics. I recently visited this urgent care facility and had a wonderful experience. The Nurse practitioner, Daisy, provided exceptional patient care. She took the time to listen to all my questions and concerns, making me feel valued and understood. Daisy went above and beyond in her treatment approach and even referred me to a fantastic specialist for further care. I am truly grateful for the attention and support I received during my visit. Overall, I am very happy with the care I received at this facility and would highly recommend it to others in need of urgent medical attention.
