Eastern Shore Urgent Care

I came to this urgent care 15 minutes before closing because I needed stitches, not for something trivial. From the moment I walked in, I was met with disrespect and attitude. I could clearly hear staff in the back complaining about having to see another patient, which made me feel completely unwelcome and like an inconvenience for simply needing medical care. No patient should ever feel embarrassed or wrong for seeking treatment—especially when they are injured. It was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and honestly upsetting. Only after all of this did they finally fit me in and apologize, but the damage was already done. Urgent care exists for situations exactly like this. If staff don’t want to treat patients close to closing time, then hours shouldn’t be posted as open. I’ve never felt

No one typically goes to an urgent care on a Sunday when they are feeling great. You go because you are sick, which is what I am today having a sore throat all week and wanted to make sure after so long that it was not strep. Fortunately it was not, but the doctor did say he would send a script to the Walgreens in Chestertown right after my appointment. My husband and I went to the shopping center and waited for the prescription for at least an hour afterwards but they never received it. Since I don’t live around the corner, I did not want to go home but ultimately did in order to wait for the text that the meds were ready. Unfortunately, I never received that text and when I called at 5:45pm right before they closed, to ask if it was there, they said it was never called in. All day I wait

I make what has become a yearly walk in appearance here when visiting my parents for the holidays. Marisa is excellent: a clear communicator, good listener, all around empathetic NP. Thankful!

Do O'Connor and his team were great! Super appreciative to them for their services today. Urgent care is super clean, quick service and thorough. Can not thank them enough!
