Duncansville Pharmacy

It's with a kind of friendly pride that I say I feel at home at this small town pharmacy. As a young girl I used to go roller skating with the owner/pharmacist's cousin. Ron Dick was an impressive skater & an even more impressive owner/pharmacist. It's said that "our past behavior is the best indicator of our future behavior." Ron is helpful, courteous, attentive & most welcoming. All of his staff is particularly congenial too. I happily switched my meds to Duncansville Pharmacy ~ a hometown kind of business! Nice small town pharmacy located in the heart of downtown Duncansville. Staff are friendly and they do have a convenient drive through for picking up prescriptions. They offer local prescription delivery, as well. They offer limited weekend hours on Saturdays and they don't always answer their phone, during normal business hours. It goes to a voicemail system.

Walked in got Flu Shot. Had to fill-out small sheet name etc. Waited about 5 minutes got shot and walked out. Great service with friendly personnel. Highly recommend.

I've been using Duncansville Pharmacy since 2018, and I haven't had a single complaint! The staff is always helpful and personable. Having lived in Altoona for the majority of my life, I can confidently say I've never had this great of an experience at any other pharmacy. I love the text updates when my prescriptions are ready, and there's always someone available for consultation. If you're looking for a pharmacy that truly cares about its customers, this is the place to go!
