Duckworth animal hospital is a very compassionate, caring, loving group. Taking time to care for the pets owners, as well as they do the animal. I had been taking my mini schnauzer there for years over a chronic ear infection. Seen every doctor on staff. Nothing they prescribed helped my poor dogs ear infection heal. After four years they recommended i have his ear canal removed. Thats when I made a smart decision to get a second option. I took him to Kingsport Veterinarian Hospital. The doctor there basically shamed me for the condition of his ear, and proceeded to explain what external forces can effect a dog's ear. How the dogs body works will outdoor allergies and symptoms then went on the explain food allergies. I left the vets office with a clearer understanding of whats happening

My husband's grandparents, parents and us as well have been using Duckworth animal hospital for overv40 years. They are wonderful! I have recommended them to several people and they love them as well.

We brought our dog in for grand mal seizures. They kept her all day and treated her with steroids, then sent her home. That night she began having more seizures, and we had to rush her to Johnson City for emergency care, where we ultimately had to make the heartbreaking decision to euthanize her. We are devastated and feel that her condition was not adequately stabilized before being discharged. I would urge others to ask detailed questions about treatment plans and monitoring before taking their pet home in a similar situation.

I want to thank Dr Cook and her staff from the bottom of my heart! We had to have our two dogs euthanized in two different occasions in less than four months, the amount of compassion and love got us through this difficult time! Thank you! You are the best!!

Had a doggie emergency and they were quick to get us in after the doctor got there. I would think within 15 minutes and we were out within 30 to 45 minutes.
