Dowd Medical Associates Pediatrics

My children and I love Dr. Smith and Kerri, and all of the doctors, NPs, and nurses we've seen over the last 15 years. The front desk staff is helpful and kind, and we are happy to continue working with them until the kids are adults.

We love the practitioners at Dowd - they are caring, attentive, and patient. Their front office staff are lovely as well. We really like that they are open even on weekends and holidays! Their billing office staff however are UNBELIEVABLY rude, impatient, and condescending. If you can avoid interacting with this particular staff member I highly encourage you to do so. I would happily give a 5 star review to Dowd Pediatrics if it were not for the incredibly negative interactions both my husband and I have had with this individual on several occasions.

I have been bringing my baby to Dr. Ganesh at Dowd for a few months and I cannot sing their praises enough. They are extremely prompt and thorough. I also feel like my questions and concerns get taken seriously and they provide helpful and realistic information. When I call with issues, they are quick to call me back. I have been able to schedule sick visits easily on short notice. I had several friends, neighbors and coworkers recommend Dowd and I am soooo glad I chose them for my first child. I also saw Dr. Corwin and Michael when my doctor was out, and I found them extremely professional and helpful to work with. Honestly I don't think you can go wrong with any of the doctors at Dowd. I already referred a friend to them.

After being patients for 5 years and setting up a transfer of records in advance of our move, nobody told us they would transfer our records and close our case, leaving us without primary care for my children for over a month. The lack of transparency and responsibility is shocking and disappointing after what I thought was a great relationship. I couldn't have been clearer when we were moving and when I called with a sick kid there was no empathy at all. So disappointing.

My wife and I have been taking our three daughters here for 18 years. The experience has been nothing short of wonderful. All of the doctors and nurses are excellent. I would never consider taking my children anywhere else. I would highly reccomend them to anyone looking for a pediatric practice.
