Divya Sivakumar, DO at Hope Headache and Neurology

I have been seeing Dr.Sivakumar for about 2yrs now. From the first visit to every follow up she’s always been the same physician, kind, caring, knowledgeable and really wants what’s best to help. Was just talking to someone who suffers from migraines and referred her here because I couldn’t speak highly enough about the doctor and staff! She actually genuinely cares and listens. Not sure how I’m just now making a review on how amazing she is and her practice. If you’re looking for a doctor who cares and listens and genuinely wants to help you and you’re not just a number, look no further she is hands down the best!

Dr Sivakumar was terrific. She was very thorough and concerned, and spent a good 40 minutes reviewing my situation and assessing my symptoms. She was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable.

If you are not in front of Dr. Sivakumar, you do not exist to her. I've had nothing but problems with this office since day 1. I work in vet med and we treat the animals with more respect and compassion than this practice. After waiting nearly 5 weeks for things that were supposed to be taken care of such as change in medication but instead the ball was dropped once again, I decided to officially cut ties.

Before arriving for the first appointment, the intake forms from the new Hope Headache clinic were detailed and requested relevant specific information that isn't typically asked. When we saw Dr. Sivakumar, she spent an extremely long time getting a careful history and talking through all the extensive background information. She came up with a solid new plan of action with several facets, but most of all, it was so great to finally have a doctor who listened to the patient fully and cared about the details!

Dr. Sivakumar is the only doctor in 20 years that has taken my headaches seriously. She spends ample times each appointment to gather feedback about medication, concerns, etc. Additionally, I have not had to wait more than 10 minutes for an appointment. She is caring and hears all concerns. Dr. Sivakumar takes a whole body approach to determine if there are other reasons for headaches. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone!!
