Dermatologist Jaryd Freedman

Dr. Freedman is great. My husband was seeing a dermatologist every few weeks for months in FL. After multiple biopsies he could not discern what was causing his skin condition which showed up as big red blotches on his body. After a couple of visits with Dr. Freedman he determined from biopsies that it was a skin condition called eosinophilic annular erythema. Luckily he knew about this rare disorder and had tested specifically for it. It was wonderful to finally have a diagnosis so that he could begin treatment.

Dr. Jaryd Freedman is an amazing dermatologist. I had issues on my facial skin for years from using steroid creams, and no other doctor I have been in NJ could help. His treatment completely healed my skin. He is kind, knowledgeable, and really listens. I’m so thankful for his care!

First, this doctor came in and literally sat down in a chair face to face with me. That's a good doc!! Great bedside. I know bc my husband is a nurse and deals w ego maniac docs all the time. Thoroughly went over alllll of my questions. He didn't make me feel rushed. I felt seen and heard. Office is clean and staff were all courtesy and welcoming. What a breath of fresh air!!! I highly recommend this dermatologist!!

This dermatologist was recommended by another doctor for a second opinion. I should have trusted the 1 star review, but, decided to make an appointment based on the recommendation. Just an awful experience for me. This dermatologist talks in hypotheticals with forced empathy. No diagnosis or treatment plan. Limited patient skills, body language was off-putting with weird gestures. During the monologue he mentioned possible discoid lupus but didn't offer to test for a second opinion as I had a previous biopsy - the only real takeaway from his theatrics. I got the sense he wasn't interested in treating me. A totally strange patient experience. Not worth the $50 copay. Don't waste your time or money.

Great communication & bedside manner . Tried vigorously to help me get medication approved by insurance. Definitely a great experience.! Going back
