I've had an ongoing issue with sleeping problems for the past 10 years that were ignored and locked in a box deep in the closet, hoping that the problems would go away, but I finally came to the realization that I needed to start taking care of my health because it was only getting worse. As an Active Duty Soldier, this is the mentality that most of us have, unfortunately. That being said, I highly recommend this center because Dr. Nugent doesn't just go based off of what one chart says in the system. He dives deeper into the full picture, takes into consideration your whole history of issues, and doesn't ignore your input on your situation or what you live with on a daily basis. After going through hell with doctors in the hospital with them having a god complex I found one of the most humble and down to earth doctors. I don’t have enough words to describe his manners with patients. My primary doctor said he was the best around and he was right. He takes his time with each patient making sure they understand what is going on and includes them with the direction of care. I had a possible relatively grim prognosis and he took his time to check and recheck before he made his opinion about it. I am relieved and trust his judgment and his description of the issue made the most sense. Let’s hope we see progress in my 6 month follow up.

First visit was very good. I was able to get in for an emergency appointment the same day, which was awesome!! Dr. Nugent was very nice, knowledgeable, thorough and answered all my questions. The office staff was very nice also.

Dr. Nugent is an excellent pulmonologist. I have been going to him for years, and will not see anyone else. He takes his time, caring, extremely knowledgeable, and you just can't ask for a better doctor. He is the epitome of what a doctor should be. His office staff is wonderful and very helpful.
