Dentistry of the Carolinas - Kannapolis

I had a very disappointing experience at this “new” dentist I tried closer to my home yesterday. I scheduled what I expected to be a routine cleaning. However, as soon as I sat down, I was told I needed a deep cleaning, would have to be numbed, and would need to return for a second appointment to complete the other side. While I understand that deep cleanings can be necessary in some cases, what concerned me was that I specifically asked for a regular cleaning. That’s something my previous dentist has consistently provided without ever insisting I needed a deep cleaning. This new dentist based her recommendation solely on prior X-rays from my former office, yet my previous dentist never indicated that a deep cleaning was necessary. I was really nervous coming in after having so many bad dental experiences. I was skeptical seeing the building because it appeared older than some of the dentist's I have been too. They were super sweet overall. Took the time to evaluate and explain. Was soft spoken, respectful & understanding. I am pleased with my visit.

I bring my mother to this practice and Dr Rains is absolutely the kindest and most compassionate dentist we have ever met. She’s wonderful with my mom! The staff is super friendly and accommodating as well. Highly recommend her!!

For the longest time, I have had a significant fear of visiting the dentist, until I discovered Dentistry of the Carolinas-Kannapolis. Courtney Rains is truly exceptional. She is an outstanding dentist and a remarkably kind individual. All of the staff members are delightful. I highly recommend their services to everyone.
